  • VICARS GAME

    Established in Reading in 1886 and traded in the same family for three generations as Purveyors of English Meat and Game.

    They aim to source the finest beef from local farms in West Berkshire, with meat bred and butchered to perfection to produce a fuller flavour. Theyput ethically sourced and sustainable meat from the UK at the top of their priorities.

    Born and reared in UK.  Fully traceable.  Purchased by grade to ensure best quality and eating beef.  Perfect fat covering to allow further aging.  Vicars specification of guaranteed under 30 months heifers to deliver consistent quality.  Aged for up to 42 days. 

  • BELU WATER

    Belu is a drinks business that puts people and the environment first.

    They choose to invest 100% of net profits into funding life changing work through a partnership with WaterAid and nature-based solutions throughout the UK. 

    Launched in 2007, their purpose is to change the way the world sees water, with all their net profits invested into saving carbon emissions from entering the atmosphere, implementing a circular economy, supporting water stewardship projects and bringing clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to everyone, everywhere.

  • ANONYMOUS COFFEE CO.

    An independent, family owned and operated specialty coffee roaster based just around the corner!

    Their commitment to the planet…

    Greenspark partnership: Through collaboration with Greenspark, every retail purchase contributes to global reforestation and plastic waste removal, making a tangible impact on the environment.

    B Corp Certification: They have begun the journey towards B Corp certification.

    Zero waste. All spent coffee grounds and chaff from the roasting process are collected and reused by local growers & agriculturists.

  • TEA PEOPLE SPECIALITY TEAS

    An award-winning fine tea social enterprise based in Reading, that uses business as a medium to alleviate poverty in tea growing regions.

    They work in partnership with their sister charity, New Leaf Trust to improve healthcare & education in the regions as well as helping to empower vulnerable women to address other social issues such as sex trafficking, domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse.

  • HOUSE SPIRIT ECO POUCHES

    Our Froggy B Organic Vodka, Citadelle Gin, Planteray Rum & Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaco all come in ‘eco pouches’ which removes glass waste and enables us to porovide a higher quality produce at a lower price.

  • PINK HYGIENE

    We use Pink Hygiene for all of our washroom and baby changing facilities as they donate a percentage of all contracts to breast cancer charities.

    Their environmental standards are amongst the best in the industry, backedup by having robust green policies and industry leading environmental accreditations. They guarantee never to send waste to landfill. Instead waste is turned into a renewable fuel source which powers a local hospital.
